CRYSPOM 2018

 

The international workshop Crystallization in Porous Media VI (CRYSPOM VI) to be held in Hamburg, 19-21 September
2018. The workshop will be jointly organized by the Department of Chemistry at the University of Hamburg and SIK (Salze im Kulturgut e.V.).

CRYSPOM workshops focus on fundamental research on crystallization in porous media. The idea of the workshop is to bring together the leading
researchers and PhD students to provide for a constructive and open dialogue and to incite collaborations between theorists and experimentalists at an international level.

More information regarding registration and submission of abstracts will follow soon.

 

SWBSS 2017

 

The Forth International Conference on Salt Weathering of Buildings and Stone Sculptures (SWBSS) took place in Potsdam (Germany) from 20 - 22 September 2017 at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam (FHP).

Projekt "DFG-Projekt Fachwiki "Schäden durch Salze"".

Mit einer Förderung durch die Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft wurde seit Februar 2009 das Fachwiki "SalzWiki" zum Thema "Schäden durch Salze" am Hornemann Institut der HAWK Hildesheim Holzminden/Göttingen realisiert. SalzWiki wurde nach dem Vorbild der Internet-Enzyklopädie Wikipedia aufgebaut, um umfassend zum Thema zu informieren. Darüber dient SalzWiki auch als virtuelle Forschungsumgebung für Experten in diesem Bereich. Seit Ende 2011 ist auch die englischsprachige Version unter www.saltwiki.net online

CRYSPOM III

Der internationale Workshop CRYSPOIM III zum Thema Crystallization in Porous Media" fand vom 4. - 7. September 2012 in Troia/Portugal statt. Der Schwerpunkt des Workshops lag in der Grundlagenforschung zum Thema Kristallisation in porösen Materialien. Ziel war es, die Schadensmechanismen besser zu verstehen, um aufbauend darauf wirkungsvolle Maßnahmen treffen zu können. Der dritte Workshop hat als neues Thema sich auch der Entwicklung von Energiespeichersystemen, die auf Salzen basieren, gewidmet. Der Abstract-Band ist nun verfügbar:
